Discussing the problem of upper limb dichotomy, it is of interest to study the influence of motor coordination abilities individual parameters in cadets-navigators. The level of development that determines the safety of flights on military aircraft and is one of the factors ensuring the effectiveness of future officers’ military activities. The research aim is to study the dependence of the upper extremities dichotomy on cadets-navigators’ parameters of motor coordination professional abilities and their readiness indicators. Research methods and organization. The research was conducted in Chelyabinsk in the period of 2016-2024. The empirical sample of the research consisted of 182 cadet navigators from the first to the fifth studying years, aged 18 - 24 years. Within 85-95% of the cadets had sports grades in various sports. The obtained primary data of numerical values were subjected to mathematical and statistical processing by calculating the coefficients of paired correlation by K. Pearson. The research results. Direct and inverse correlations were obtained with the indicators of upper limb dichotomy. The right-handedness of cadet navigators is due to the high level of development of general and integral coordination, professional coordination abilities and low left-handedness manifestation. The cadets’ left-handedness has a direct reliable relationship with equilateral handedness indicators, the level of sportsmanship and the experience of sports. Consequently, sports activities contribute to an increase in the ability to be left-handed. Equilateral handedness has a direct relationship with the indicators of general, professional, integral level of motor coordination, as well as with left-handedness, the level of athletic skill and experience in sports. Conclusions. Based on the obtained patterns, methodological recommendations are proposed for correcting the dichotomy of the upper extremities in cadets-navigators professional activity, taking into account the manifestation of motor coordination abilities
